Frequency converter is designed for speed control and low-voltage induction motors with a squirrel cage via transistor autonomous voltage inverter on IGBT-modules with DC link and multifunctional microprocessor-based control system of high-perfomance digital signal processor. The formation of the output voltage of the frequency converter is performed by switching IGBT-modules with flexible selection algorithm and high frequency pulse width modulation (PWM). The PWM frequency is selected in a range from 0,5 kHz to 20 kHz 0,1 kHz. This allows to adjust the fundamental frequency output voltage to 800 Hz and gain significant energy savings — from 30 to 60%.

Appointment

The frequency converter of this modification is designed for electric drives with “the fan” mechanical characteristic: fans, centrifugal pumps, blowers, compressors, centrifuges, etc. This frequency converter is also applicable for machines, load torque which can be constant and equal to the rated motor torque in the speed range from zero to nominal.

The transmitter for general industrial and crane performance can be equipped with a regenerative braking energy into the network, which is being built with the input of the active rectifier, providing recovery of the flow of energy from the load to the mains supply. At the same time the drive is carried out in the four quadrants of the mechanical characteristics, which provides high dynamic performance drive and energy savings due to energy recovery in the mains supply to the generator mode of the engine.
