RG power transformers are produced using RESIN GLASS FIBER (RGF) technology, uses electrical insulation system combined with a reinforcing material based on electrical glass (composite material).

RG power transformers are designed to work in a temperate climate at an altitude of up to 1000 m above sea level, in well-ventilated rooms or on open platforms in enclosures that provide protection from dust and chemically active or explosive gases. Ambient temperature +40°C (313 K), the average operating temperature up to +20 C (293 K). Installed in special cases and can work in mines among gas and dust hazards as well as on the surface.
Due to high mechanical strength the transformers are resistant to kinetic forces generated during short circuits.
